Design.

And more.

Animation.

Design is how I make sense of the world, and I approach every project with curiosity and a drive to learn. As a self-taught creative from Utrecht, I enjoy taking on challenges that push me into new tools and unfamiliar territory, growing my skills as I go.

Whether I’m designing, animating, experimenting with new software or making something from scratch, I focus on clear ideas, thoughtful visuals and creating work that feels honest and purposeful.

Design.

Logos, visual identities, and brand systems built from clear ideas and strong concepts. From first sketch to real-world applications, always with function and context in mind.

From idea to identity

Animation.
Experiments.

A hand-drawn 2D animation combined with a 3D environment, built entirely from scratch. This project took 1.5 years of learning, experimenting, stress, and persistence and became my first full animation shown in an exhibition.

One animation, 1.5 years

A collection of experiments across illustration, objects, games, 3D prints, and short videos. These projects are driven by curiosity and exploration, without a fixed brief or end goal.

My
Logos

These logos started as ideas, sketches, and a lot of experimenting. Each one is about finding the right balance between character, clarity, and fun.

Winter Ballad - Animation

What is this project?

For 1.5 years, I worked on a hand-drawn 2D animation music video combined with a 3D environment in Blender. When my friend Tomás Mauro asked if I could make an animation, I blindly said yes. After creating a simple stick-figure animation at the beginning of 2024, I thought I understood animation well enough.

The project quickly grew far beyond my expectations, ultimately taking over 1,000 hours spread across 1.5 years of learning and creating.

The animation was showcased as part of a three-week exhibition curated by Tomás Mauro at De Hallen Amsterdam, created for his upcoming neo-classical music album. You can read more about the process and development of this project on my animation page.
